DANNY VANN'S "The Other Side of Elvis - The King Lives" shows that the man dubbed "the king" really wanted to sing gospel music but his handlers wouldn't allow it. In fact, Elvis received his first Grammy Award for "How Great Thou Art" (1967) and went on to win two more Grammys, both for gospel songs.
Danny wants everyone to see that there was a religious side of Elvis that was deep-rooted in his upbringing in Memphis.
